“I'm gonna lay down my burden...down by the riverside.”

American Negro Spiritual

Created by slaves on plantations in the American South and sung by protesters and worshipers today. Spirituals powerfully combine despair, hope, anger and promise, protest and deliverance.

Go Down Moses is a concert and visual presentation that features soul-stirring renditions of classics including “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot,” “Sometimes I Feel Like A Motherless Child,” “Wade in the Water”, and many other melodious gems.
