Sisters & Voices

“Sisters & Voices” is a captivating multimedia celebration of legendary Black divas, blending live music with evocative imagery. A versatile ensemble performs a rich spectrum of sound, featuring the soulful gospel of Mahalia Jackson, the gritty blues of Bessie Smith, and the elegant jazz of Billie Holiday.

Listen to concert singer Marian Anderson in rare film footage and join in for high-energy renditions of Aretha Franklin’s “A Natural Woman” and “Respect,” or clap along to Beyoncé‘s hits as a visual tribute brings these iconic voices to life.

” The most alluring thing a woman can have is confidence.”
-Beyoncé Knowles
