“Let Freedom Sing” honors the powerful music of the American Civil Rights Movement, examining how these stirring anthems continue to drive social change today.
The program features evocative performances of classics like “We Shall Overcome,” “People Get Ready,” and “Blowin’ in the Wind.”
Audience members are taken on a journey through the influential work of artists such as Mahalia Jackson, Curtis Mayfield, James Brown, and Pete Seeger, whose voices defined the soundtrack of a revolution.
